Pre-School Program

Our Lady of Humility School provides two full-day programs designed for preschool-aged children. Each program offers a choice of three or five days led by skilled educators with the support of teaching assistants who tailor the educational experience to your child's unique needs. During the preschool years, children experience remarkable growth and learning.

Our Lady of Humility Preschool fosters a love for learning in a nurturing, faith-based environment. At OLH, we create a welcoming and secure atmosphere your child's first school experience. We view each child as a unique individual, blessed with their own preferences and abilities. Every moment in our classrooms is significant, as each smile, encouraging word, and act of kindness contributes to shaping our students' lives.

OLH lays the groundwork for your child to build self-confidence, faith, and a positive outlook that will accompany them throughout their educational journey. We invite you to explore our curriculum, class offerings, and to arrange a visit to our classrooms.

Our Approach

Our preschool program is designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and social interaction. We believe that a child's growth, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and creativity is best supported through play, exploration and engaging, hands-on experiences. At OLH, preschool learning emphasizes discovery through math and science, while also fostering language, social, and fine motor skills.

We understand that confidence and self-esteem are built through purposeful play, which we view as a child's "work." By offering both guided and free play, we promote imagination, initiative, and problem-solving. Our curriculum employs Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), ensuring a significant, interactive learning experience that helps children learn in a fun and meaningful way. Additionally, we prioritize socialization, cooperation, and respect within a living Catholic faith environment.

Program Goals

At OLH, our goal is to offer experiences and activities that:

  • Foster creative thinking skills in children.

  • Involve children in engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

  • Establish a warm, nurturing environment that promotes a positive self-image.

  • Encourage the development of social skills that lead to positive relationships.

  • Support the physical development and skills of children.

  • Share the values and beliefs of our Catholic faith with our children.
